Khaki Waterproof Dog Leash

Khaki waterproof dog leash for everyday walks

Rain, wet grass and mud are part of walking a dog. This khaki waterproof dog leash is made from PVC webbing, a material that absorbs little moisture and is easy to clean after a dirty walk. Simply rinse or wipe it down and it is ready to go again.

At a fixed length of 152 cm, your dog stays close enough for control without the leash being unnecessarily short. It is 2 cm wide and has a 360° swivel zinc-alloy hook to help prevent the leash twisting while you walk.

Why waterproof material is practical

A traditional fabric leash can retain moisture and dirt after a wet or muddy walk. PVC webbing is practical for frequent outdoor use: it is waterproof, odour resistant and easy to maintain. Ideal for everyday walks, rainy days, woodland routes and dogs that find every puddle irresistible.

Frequently asked questions

Will the leash smell after rain or swimming?

PVC absorbs much less moisture than a traditional fabric leash and is odour resistant. Rinse off dirt and mud after use and let the leash dry before storing it.

How do I remove dried mud?

Rinsing with water or wiping with a damp cloth is usually enough. For stubborn dirt, use a little mild soap and then air dry.

Can I use this leash in the rain?

Yes. The PVC webbing is waterproof and practical in wet weather. After heavy exposure to water or dirt, clean and dry the metal hook as well.

Can the metal hook rust?

The hook is made from zinc alloy and is suitable for normal daily use. We do not treat any metal component as completely maintenance-free. Rinse away dirt or salt and let the hook dry after very wet use.

Why does the hook rotate 360 degrees?

The swivel attachment can move as your dog changes direction, helping prevent the leash from twisting around itself.

Is this leash suitable for strong dogs?

The leash has a tested maximum tensile strength of up to 196 kg. This indicates the strength of the leash itself, but safe use also depends on your dog's behaviour and strength, the condition of the leash and hook, and how it is used. Check it regularly for wear or damage.

Is 152 cm long enough for everyday walks?

The fixed 152 cm length is intended for daily walks where you want a balance of freedom of movement and direct control. If you want considerably more distance for free sniffing, a longer leash is better suited to that use.
